*I found mine in the regular section marked at $5.99. As long as you buy the correct scent, it will ring up $2.99.

FRYS

Duracell Batteries

DO NOT SCAN CARD AT THE BEGINNING! Have them get a total first, its about $27 because the original price is $4.99 or $5.99. (I wondered if at this point I could give them a $5/20 Fresh and Easy coupon, but I forgot to try!)

5 Duracell Batteries - $1.98 each
~ use $0.50/1 coupons (I had 3)
~ use $1.50 / 1 coupons (I had 2)

= $1.72 total for 5 packs of batteries. Depending on your coupons, or if you can use the Fresh and Easy coupons, it could be FREE!!!

And for you last minute shoppers (like me!) they just restocked on their Cream of Chicken / Mushroom soups, Carnation Evaporated Milk, Colgate Toothpaste, and Colgate Toothbrushes! You can get ALL of these items for FREE right now!

I bought a BUNCH of stuff today, including milk, juice, hot dog buns, trash bags, dishwasher soap, paper plates, plastic cups, soups, toothbrushes, and other things I needed. Some I had coupons for and other things I didnt - but I still only spent $19 out of pocket INCLUDING the batteries I did in my 1st transaction.

I {heart} Coupons.

**UPDATE***

Due to some unfriendly comments received I would like to clarify that Centsableshoppin' did NOT post about the Walgreens coupon being used at Frys. That is one thing I tried on my own. Please excuse me for making a mistake - I was unaware that Wags coupons are currently not accepted at Frys. (Remember we are all new and doing the best we can - but thank you for your quick and anonymous comment to set me straight!) My checker / manager did not even mention the fact that they were not accepted, nor did he bat an eyelash when I gave him the coupon. Hopefully one day I will be the perfect "Couponer"! :)

Loreal Deal at CVS

Right now CVS has tons of L'oreal on clearance for 75% off......pairing that deal with this Sunday's $2/1 and $5/2 MQ's should make for some free and cheap makeup!  They had a great selection of shades still....I got some mineral powder makeup that was about 25 cents after the $5/2 coupon.  Also, blushes, nail polishes, perfect match makeup, and some terrific lipsticks.  Just check along their South wall of the store, there is lots there to choose from if you look for the 75% off tags on select items!

-- Thanks Kathryn!!!

Batteries

There is an awesome deal on Batteries at Fry's. I have plenty of AA Batteries, but we are in need of some C and D batteries and here is a way to get the on the Cheap! The Duracell batteries are on sale for $1.99 there is a $0.50 / 1 coupon in the 10/10 PG which makes them only .99 each! And on top of that there is a catalina running! I haven't tried it yet but plan on trying it this evening. Here is my plan

Buy 4 Duracell batteries $7.96
4 Campbells chunky soup $3.96
4 Glade Candles $7.96
2 Ricolla cough drops $1
Total $20.88

Then I'll use a $5/20 Fresh and Easy coupon
(4) $0.50/1 Duracell coupons 10/10 PG
(4) $0.50/1 Campbells chunky soup Printable
(4) $1/1 Glade 4oz candle coupons (from Safeway Thanksgiving coupon book)
(1) $1/2 Ricolla Cough Drops coupon

For a grand total of $1.88 (+tax) And then I should get a $3 Catalina back for buying the Batteries! There is also supposed to be a $1.50/1 coupon in this Sundays paper which would make this deal even better!! You can always use batteries, especially around this time of year!

Cellfire eQs no longer accepted at Safeway!

Hey I just got this email and thought I would share...

Just one more reason why I don't like shopping at Safeway

We have an important change to the Cellfire service that will affect your membership. Starting today, Thursday, Nov. 4th, Cellfire will no longer offer our coupons for use at Safeway. Safeway has decided to discontinue use of Cellfire's save-to-card services. If you currently have Cellfire coupons saved to your Safeway card they will continue to be redeemable until their expiration date.
We continue to offer Cellfire save-to-card coupons at all Kroger-owned stores, ShopRite, Giant Eagle, and SHOP 'n SAVE. And, we look to add additional stores in the coming months. Kroger-owned stores include: Ralph's, King Soopers, City Market, Dillons, Smith's, Fry's, QFC, Baker's, Owen's, JayC, Hilander, Gerbes, Pay Less, Scott's, and Fred Meyer. If you have one of these supported stores in your area please add your loyalty card to your Cellfire account to start saving coupons immediately. We apologize for this inconvenience and will let you know of any future changes.

Regards,

The Cellfire Team

Use the $1/2 coupon from the 10/17 RP

Final Cost $1.74 each!

Need Diapers and don't have any Amazon Diaper Codes? Or can't wait the whole 2 days for shipping? Get Huggies at Wags for cheap this week...

Huggies Pull-Ups or Diapers jumbo pk. $7.99 = $1 RR

Target Coupons -- Get Them NOW!

There are a couple fantastic Target coupons available on their website HERE that you can use at Fry's to score some really cheap stuff!

Here's what I printed off (remember you can print each TWICE!):

$1 off 48 oz Market Pantry Ice Cream
.50 off Deli Purchase of $1 or more (specifies store brand)
$1 off Neutrogena facial care item, excl. trial size
$1 off Produce purchase of $1 or more -- hello free produce!!
.50 off 20 oz. or 24 oz. Market Pantry Bread
$1 off Bakery Items (store brand, excludes .99 items) - think French Bread, cookies, etc.

Market Pantry is Target's store brand. Look for comparable Fry's branded items and its a match. Some cashiers may ask their manager for approval, but you shouldn't run into many problems. Also, last time I used a Target bread coupon for .50 Fry's doubled it! YMMV (your mileage may vary) but I was quite happy about the overage since bread was only .88! Also I haven't had any trouble using a competitor coupon and a manufacture coupon at Fry's on the same product. I need face wash BADLY so I am excited to see what I can score...

My Fry's Trip -- Yipee!

I headed into Fry's today to cash in on the $10 off $50 Fresh & Easy coupon. I was able to get my total up above the $50 pre tax by getting some FREE stuff that added to my total before coupons were deducted. I won't run through my whole purchase but I will give you the highlights:

Best Life Buttery Spread $1 (sale) - $1/1 MQ = FREE
Tampax Gentle Glide 18 Ct. $2.99 - $2 IPQ - $3 eQ = $2 OVERAGE!
** I purchased 2 packages and had planned to pay .99 each after IPQ. However in the end a $3 eQ    came off. I still can't figure out where it came from. If anyone knows let me know so I can post it on the blog! **
Bounty Basic Paper Towels 1.19 - .25 MQ = .19 each
** I buy these coupons in lots of 20 off of ebay. I pay $1.44 shipped! A great way to stock up on something we use all the time. Combine this with the $1/1 eCoupon and you are in for some serious SAVINGS! **
Fry's Bread .88 - .50 Target IPQ (doubled!) = .12 overage
Old El Paso Seasoning Packets 1.19 - .50 MQ = .19 each
     ** wyb 3 you'll receive a $1 OYNO Beef & Chicken Catalina

.50/1 eQ 2L Pepsi & Sierra Mist

My husband came home last night excited to report he'd used an eQ from our Shoppers Card unwittingly. I love a man who loves to save money! The .50 eQ on Pepsi Max and Sierra Mist available on the Fry's website came off when he purchased a 2L Diet Pepsi currently priced at .88 cents. Only .38 for a 2L!

Now I've just got to get my behind to the stores this week for my next covert mission: extra shoppers cards!

Jack in the Box -- Grilled Pastrami $1/1

I saw this coupon online and thought I would share.

Friday Safeway Trip -- Diapers & Soup

I think this is the hands down best deal I have ever gotten on diapers! I didn't even mean for it to be this good, but sigh :) I cannot complain one bit!

9.99 - Huggies Little Snugglers diapers pack
-$2.00 Safeway Store Coupon (in last Sundays paper or just ask the clerk like I did)
-$2.00 IPQ printed a few weeks ago
-$2.00 Huggies eQ Little Snugglers/Little Movers
-$3.00 Huggies eQ Pure & Natural
=.99 cents cost!
1.00 - (3) Soup at Hand
-.50 (doubled) MQ
= FREE
.81 tax
1.80 cost for all 4 items!! HOORAY!

The story on the eQ's both coming off... I don't know why but it is a happy little thing isn't it!

They did not have any Pure & Natural diapers in my Safeway store. I was really bummed b/c I had another IPQ for the P&N variety for $2.50/1 and it expired yesterday. So I was sad that I would get to score a second pack of diapers for $2.50 thinking the Little Snugglers were costing me $4. Well, when I went up and checked out BOTH eQs came off!

Want to score this deal? Go on over to Safeway.com scroll to the bottom and click on Coupons. Load the Huggies eQs to your card, grab an IPQ or the $1.50 Huggies MQ from a past Sunday paper and head on in to Safeway TODAY! The Safeway Coupon for 7.99 diapers only is good through today 9/18.

I didn't have one so I just asked my clerk and she scanned the one she had behind the register. The FIRST TIME a Safeway trip has left me happy! haha

Real California Milk Coupons

I know there is drama about the Real California Milk coupons. Read all about my drama HERE.

But just wanted to let all those haters see for themselves that they are not FRAUD. Please to go the Real California Milk Homepage and scroll down to the bottom. Click on either the "Click Here to Download a Coupon" button's for either Cheese or Milk products. What do you get? A PDF.

Remember that the products must carry that seal. A lot of the Lucerne cheese at Safeway carries this seal. And Kim over at Arizona Savings has been able to use it on the milk as well. As you can see in my drama that my Safeway is not so friendly.

They also have Pictureka Flipper Game for $9.10 so after the $4 coupon..........$5.10.

If you haven't been to the Frys Marketplace on Pinal/McCartney you have been missing out on the HUGE toy/game clearance going on! They have LOTS of tables HEAPING with toys marked 50% down. I am still hoping that they will go 75% -- but if I don't see that happen before too long I will start stocking up!

Think Christmas, Birthdays... donations :)

There are games and toys for kids 0 - 10... I didn't see much in the video game, etc area.

Let me know if you see them get marked down even further!

The Splurge

So I totally splurged today! I finally bit the bullet and bought the fancy schmancy double stroller that I have been dreaming of for 4 1/2 months...

Isn't it wonderful :) And there is a cool extra bar that fits on the front to let TWO carseats riding at the same time. And currently, that would be super useful! :)

So yes, I spent a lot of $$ but I did shop smart.

Here's what I did:

I looked all around and decided on the stroller I wanted. I checked craigslist and decided against purchasing used... b/c its a good investment afterall, why not just go for it?! Then I started shopping online and comparing stores.

Diapers.com $224.99
Amazon.com $220.54
BabiesRUs.com $279.99
and so on.

Then I looked for coupon codes to up my value and keep my OOP down and found a 15% off first purchase code for diapers.com that included free 1-2 day shipping! Oh and there was no tax.. odd but a happy surprise. So with a savings of nearly $34 I went with Diapers.com. I tried to stack this with other codes and couldn't but I am still happy with my savings.

Then of course I sold a few things on Craigslist to help out the difference. I am still OOP less than $100 for my brand new AMAZING stroller :) Now I just have to convince the hubby I can spend another $140 and get the matching carseat... LOL

Want to cash in on some savings too? If you already have an account just make a new one with one of the many emails I am sure you have and use the code: THEB3035 to save 15% off your order too!

Amazon Diaper Deal

KC over at Desert Deals Diva and Kim at Arizona Savings BOTH posted about amazing Amazon Diaper deals...

Thought I would share my own. Definately not as great as theirs... but I didn't have my hands on quite as many codes. If only I had grabbed that stack of August Parents magazines at my Pediatrician's office I was tempted too.... sigh.

My order:

156 ct Huggies Diapers (size 3) $35.00
2 ct. Soothie Nipples - Stage 2 $4.29
Shipping $16.71
- Free Shipping $16.71
-$7 Promotion (August Code)
-$7 Promotion (September Code)
= $25.29 OOP!

That is an amazing deal to me! :)

Grab your mags and get your codes (on orange flyers that say "20% off diapers") and get on over to Diapers.com

The August codes expire 8/31/10 -- and if you want to stack the codes you'll need to do so before then!!

** UPDATE ** I went to the Dr. Office today and they still had 2 Parents mags for September -- they were fine with me swipping the 20% Cards out of them! Since they are both Sept. codes I couldn't use them both in one transaction. So I signed up for the "Subscribe & Save" 30% promo as well --- essentially saving 50% on diapers! After I get my first shipment I'll go in and cancel it. I paid $9.99 for 84 Huggies Newborn diapers shipped TWO DAY! HOORAY for diaper deals!

Mentos Gum

There are coupons online that you can get through www.coupons.com for Mentos Gum. It is a 55cents off 1 coupon. It's not advertised, but I was at Safeway yesterday and Menos Gum is BOGO free. The cost is $1.49 each. SO...it's a 50 cents moneymaker when you buy two.

it may be old news to everyone else, but I was quite happy to discover it!

No special promo code needed. I uploaded some pictures ordered 25 prints and my total is $0.00 -- no tax! Plus, I'll pick them up in store so no shipping charges either!

I love great photo deals!

Why is car buying so pricey?

We just bought a new family car TODAY (well, tonight.... thank goodness for dealers who are open late!) -- and I wish wish wish there were coupons!

But I did save $$ buy researching ahead of time, knowing the blue book and fair market values and standing up for myself. I read a lot of articles over at http://www.edmunds.com/!

I was able to haggle the price down $1500 from their internet special they swore they wouldn't budge from. We got a good deal, and I am sure they made their money as well.

Anyone else have any car buying tips? Post your comments!

Did you hear?! CG is getting a Sam's Club!

I am really excited! Who knows when it'll actually get built and open -- I am thinking Spring/Summer 2011!

It'll be great to have one closer to home - they have great deals on produce and clothes. And of course I am a sucker for the big box, buy in bulk mentality. Coupons can definatley save $$ but sometimes a quick run to the store is easier!

My FRY's Trip 7/23/10

The Deals are still going until TUESDAY! And you can get EVEN MORE FREE stuff from the Coupons this Sunday!

FIRST: I Went on ARIZONA SAVINGS to look at her "Favorite Deals" she always posts when the new ad comes out. I printed off some coupons from there, and then my printer ran out of ink... but that's OK I still SAVED lots of Money.

FREE:
4 Quaker Quakes print here
1 Miracle Whip like on face book here for Coup PLUS a Safeway Q from a Grilling Book they gave out a while ago, I went and asked if they had more and I was lucky, they had to dig them up! IT made it free with some overage..I think .51 cents
1 Olive Oil Kraft Mayo (Q from on top of Miracle Whip.... with overage from other, made it free)
2 SoftSoap print here
3 CREST Toothpaste (Sunday Papers Qs)
4 Spaghettios print here
3 French's Mustard Q from Papers AND Albertson's Q in Ad this week
3 French's Dipping Sauce (SAME)
3 Ivory Body Wash (Sanday Papers Qs)

5 Easy Mac .49 each(no coup, although there is an IP available I believe)

GRAND TOTAL: $4.11 (YAY)

I really wanted to get the Crayons and Markers to get $4 OYNO, but to no avail. They were COMPLETELY out of Crayons, in the warehouse TOO. But the ad in the Sunday paper advertized them again...so I don't know peeps! Good Luck!

Do you have ENSURE coupons?

Wonderful Readers:

Teensy favor to ask -- my sweet grandma drinks a ridiculous amount of Ensure each day. And my amazing mother would L-O-V-E any Ensure coupons that you have to share! Two different ones came out in today's SS insert. So if you won't be using them please send them my way!

Email me and I will pass on my info: thebucknerfamily (at) gmail . com

THANK YOU!

FREE Crest Toothpaste

Well this past week I headed to Fry's to use up the 6 MQs I had for Crest toothpaste. They are on sale for $1 and they doubled my .50/1 MQ making them free!

Even better? I grabbed the regular kind that came with a bonus travel size on top... inside the travel size box were MORE MQs! $7/1 Crest White strips (there is an eQ on the Fry's website that you can load to your card -- a $14 total savings when used together!) BUT even BETTER in my book were the .75/1 MQs for MORE of the $1 variety! YAY! So I went back last night to score some MORE free toothpaste. I was only able to get 4 of the bonus pack kind and 2 whitening variety. But the 4 bonus packs came with more coupons!

So CHECK OUT the Crest aisle to see if you can find this variety and score free toothpaste, free coupons and MORE free toothpaste! And if you can't use it donate it to a local shelter, etc. :)

Fry's Clearance

Frys clearance is looking so GOOD! I am addicted to checking it out whenever I venture into Frys. And since I live just down the road and pass it a few times a day is A LOT!

The Fry's Marketplace on Pinal Ave has clearance located throughout the store. The biggest section is over by the 'home' department near the furniture. They generally have 2 -3 tables set up. Clearance tables are also currently located in front of the toy dept. by the new US Bank and a new one popped up in the dairy area of all places! They initially clearance items to 50% and then to 75%. Depending on the item it is safe to wait out the time in between mark downs. I always get a thrill out of watching an item for a few weeks and then finding it the day they mark it down even further!

Clearance finds will include everything from home decor, sheets and furniture to baby items, gum, makeup and toys. I recently even saw Shark Pocket Mops down to $50 (reg $119) b/c they were the display models. If only I had known then that mine would break!

Some of my BEST deals have come from the Fry's Clearance section... so be sure to check yours out regularly! Start thinking Christmas gifts and storing away some good finds that can make great birthday, etc gifts all year long! A $10 (or less) clearance find will beat a $20 day-of-rushing-cause-you-can't-show-up-without-anything gift!

Glade Candles on Clearance @ Fry's

I found some great deals on Glade candles in the clearance bins at Fry's the other day. They had macintosh apple and orange vanilla ones, which both smell delicious!! They were originally priced at $3.14 each and were on clearance for $1.59. You can also print a coupon here for $2 off any 2 Glade 4 oz. candles.

So, final price for each candle = $.59

Hopefully there are some left at the Fry's you shop at!

Amazing deals

Is anyone else loving the amazing deals around this week!

My favorite deal?

Frys:
4 Pepsi 2L .69 each with Safeway .69 ea Pepsi/7Up 2L store coupon (limit 4) (wyb 10 participating items -- only .19 each!)
5 Kraft Cheese 8 oz bags 1.49 ea (wyb 10 participating items)
1 any other item participating. I found Loreal Vive shampoo on clearance for $1.67 -$1 MQ = .67 (and it was participating in the sale so only .17 after!

And I earned $5 OYNO! Hello savings!

In other G-R-E-A-T news I finally organized my coupon binder and have kept it that way for nearly a whole week! YAY! I feel so empowered walking into a store knowing exactly what coupons I have. I just couldn't cut the file system... maybe I never gave it my best. But the rule of couponing is do what works best for YOU! And for me my ultra organized time consuming binder makes me happy and helps me save WAY more $$ than any other way (for me)

Last day for eParty Orders!

Okay, I don't really want A BAGILLION (not sure if that's a real # but you get the point) people at my house but I wanted to remind those who have received invites for the coupon class that it is TONIGHT! Don't feel sad if you haven't heard about it -- for obvious reasons I don't want to post my address on the blog. So if you know me, my email, a friend of a friend of mine... you know how to track me down and get it :)

Oh, and please don't expect to learn everything in one night. Cause it ain't happening :) But we can all learn a little more together :) See you there!

Amended Safeway Coupon Policy

Maybe us couponers should have quietly lept for joy at the wonderful new Safeway coupon policy. Apparenlty they heard all the wonderful things we were talking about and decided to change that...

Okay, they haven't changed everything but you should read and compare. The *amended* version is HERE and was last updated 6/18/10.

The MAJOR change I could see.... Register Rewards will not be accepted. Catalina coupons even when labeled "Manufacture Coupons" MUST be for a specific item, not just a $ amount. I know, I am sad about this too. Well the two weeks of fun at Walgreens were good....

Now of course some Safeway stores are more friendly and may continue to accept them. But the policy is a "NO" so don't get ready to throw a fit if they turn your RR away. This morning I WAS ABLE to use one... of course, this was before a wonderful friend let me know of the new policy. I still have two more RR that expire today. I will go back to see if they'll take them and then call it good. I really do hate Safeway. Wishing I could run into THIS STORE manager... sigh :) Where is the coupon love?

.39 Pampers Wipes

The other day I was at Target and noticed that they had the Pampers THICK wipes 72 ct for $2.39 -- pair this with the $2 MQ and you'll score wipes for .39 plus tax!

Check out the Target clothes too... I picked up some baby and toddler shirts for under $2 as well! And of course, I headed over to JCPenney's to get those 80% clearance finds! YAY!

Friday, June 25, 2010

Casa Grande JCP

Hey girls! There are shirts sizes 7-18 for girls that are on clearance this week at JC Penney for $1.97. They are perfect for school. Some are tshirts and others are polos. Have fun shopping!

$3 Huggies RESET! -- 60 ct or Larger

I wish it wasn't on the 60 ct or larger variety... but it still is a good coupon when paired with the $10 ECB deal at CVS this week. Read more over at Saving Cents with Sense HERE or HERE.

As for me I may just use the *wonderful* Luvs Mailer Qs I got this week. I received 2 $2.50/1 and 1 $2/1 ... and since Luvs are already pretty inexpensive it'll make for a great deal on diapers for little Miss.

In other news I wanted to tell you all to keep checking at Frys for Clearanced or "Close Out" deals! I saw so many when I went the other day! I picked up a Maybeline Pure Makeup Foundation for $3.50 without any Qs (cause like I said in my last post... struggling!) and since I was out.... it was worth the $. I also found another giant can of formula clearanced 50% off. YAY! There are toys and other misc household items as well. Keep your eyes open for great deals for Christmas. A $10 find now could save you A LOT of $ in the long run if you don't have to run around the week before Christmas looking for anything still on the shelves.

Couponing Mom Secrets

I wish I could tell you that I had a whole bunch of great tips on how to manage couponing and the daily CRAZY life of having kids :) By the way.... we now have 3 in our house!

So really, this post is a giant "HELP" and hope that you all will leave some comments on how you manage it all. It seems that I am always running behind on clipping my coupons or just can't seem to get the time to organize myself before I go to the store. I still have hopes of being a COUPONISTA.

So everyone out there... what do you do?

Nivea Money Maker at Wags

Nivea Body Wash is on a FANTASTIC RR Money Maker this week!

Limit one RR per transaction!

Here's the scenario:

Buy 1 Nivea for Men Body Wash 3 $5.99
- $3 MQ (from like two months ago... did you save yours?)
= $ 3.54 (with tax in CG) -- EARN $6 RR
So that's a $2.43 Money Maker after taxes!

And best part? As Trisha posted about earlier... you can take that overage (Register Reward) to Safeway and buy some groceries!

I did this deal 3 times this morning! Also, if you've been waiting to cash in on the Neutrogena RR deal ( Buy any 3 participating products get $10 RR) you're in luck! Everything is 25% off!! Best deal is the bars which are priced at $2.24 (at the reduced price) -- buy 3 of them and you'll earn a $10 RR... find some MQs (like the $1.50/1 MQ in the Safeway Coupon books) and pair it up for a great FREE or Money Making deal!

Start Thinking Christmas

Just like Raysha was thinking a few weeks ago when she found the INCREDIBLE toy clearance over at KMart...we've gotta start thinking Christmas. And when I saw this in my email this morning I thought, of course. I've got a $5/$25 purchase coupon from little Man's b-day for Toys R Us that would go great with this! Free Movie Ticket PLUS $5 off.... and I'm sure all you fantastic couponers out there can figure out how to make this deal even sweeter!

Safeway Coupon Policy

I just want to make sure that everyone heard about Safeway's new coupon policy. There is a BIG change. They now accept catalinas and manufacturer coupons that are printed from other stores. I verified this with the Casa Grande Safeway store last night. This would include coupons printed from Fry's, Albertson's, Walgreens, etc. Just another option for those Register Rewards!

Arizona Savings has a great post on this HERE

Link to the NEW Coupon Policy on the Safeway Website HERE.

**By the way, I tried to do the SCRUBBING BUBBLES OVERAGE DEAL posted by the Krazy Coupon Lady. The cashier said that she wouldnt accept my coupon of "Buy the Toilet Scrub Gel, Get the Brush Starter Kit Free" because it had a "free item" on it. I had 3 kids with me and didnt feel like arguing so I had her take the items off. Has anyone else had success with this deal???

Secret Overage Deal at Safeway

Here's a deal I saw that I matched up that I thought everyone would like.

Go to pgesaver.com and load some eQ's to your Safeway card... including the $3/2 Secret Deodorant

Now this eQ only links to one product... so you could go in and do this, which I did before I knew about the even better deal.

(1) 2.99 Secret Deodorant
-$3 eQ (auto'd at 2.99)
-.50/1 MQ (doubled)
= $1 Overage

Even better deal:
(3) Secret Deodorants 2.49 ea wyb 3+
- $3 eQ
- (3) $2 MQ from this Sunday's Paper -- Secret Mineral Power or something like that, this variety is included.
= $1.50 overage (and you get 3 deodorants)

Hope that helps!

Toy Clearance Heaven

I had read on a deal blog that K-Mart was taking an additional 50% off of their toy clearance. I also had a 20% off your entire toy purchase coupon that came in a Burger King Kids Meal. I headed to K-Mart and they had a display set up right inside the door with the clearanced toys. I'm not sure when the deal started but if you have boys, the deals were great. There were only a few girl items. My best deal was the Matchbox Mega Rig Pirate Ship.
Originally priced at $49.99, the clearance price was $40.00. After the 50% off, it was $20. After my 20% coupon, it was $16.
I also got a Star Wars Force Action Light saber which was originally $24.99, marked down to $20, after 50% if was $10, after my coupon, $8.
Then, I headed off to Frys. I always check the clearance tables there first thing. I was not disappointed today. I got:
Sesame Street "Let's go to Preschool" learning software for the computer. Originally $19.99, on clearance for $4.89
imaginext Lost Creatures dinosaur: Clearance price $3.84
imaginext Lost Creatures dinosaur: Clearance price $3.84

I'm pretty happy getting 11 great toys/gifts for about $6 more than the one pirate ship's original price.

Saturday Morning

I headed out early this morning and picked up my Bountiful Basket. I'm not sure what I am going to do with the 20 or so Bok Choy I got in it... but who doesn't love a stir fry :)

Fry's is running a OYNO deal for Nestle 24 Pack Water. I cannot remember when the end date is... so if you know, please post it in the comments. I picked up four cases yesterday :)

On sale for 3 for $10

Plus you can use any MQ's that you have (like the very common $1/2)

OYNO deal:
Buy 2 get $2 OYNO coupon
Buy 3 get $3 OYNO coupon
Buy 4+ get $5 OYNO coupon

Assuming you buy 4 in one transaction, use 2 $1/2 MQ's your OOP would be about 11.34 plus tax. And you'll receive a $5 OYNO! So really, 6.34 or $1.58 each (plus tax of course)

Clearance Makeup at CVS

I was at CVS today because I had heard about a great diaper deal this week, but I must've seen it from a different store or something, because there were no deals there and I was not going to waste my $3 Huggies coupon yet (which by the way, you can print here if they are still left.) But, I just happened to wander over to the makeup section and I saw several 75% off stickers on many items.

The best deals that I found were Revlon:

Revlon Creme Gloss:

Reg. price - $10, Clearance price - $2.49 (75% off) + $2/off Revlon MFQ

Final price - $.49

Revlon ColorStay Active Makeup with SPF25:

Reg. price - $12.99, Clearance price - $3.25 (75% off) + $2/off Revlonn MFQ

Final price - $1.25

Of course, clearance items vary by store, but you should be able to find some good makeup deals at any CVS right now.

Cheap Frozen Pizza - Fry's

If your family eats a lot of frozen pizza (like mine does!) it might be worth checking out these sales:

on sale for $1.27 -

You can also try to use this coupon that I found on the Totino's website. http://www.totinos.com/share.aspx to get an even better deal!

Living Large on Less

Janae over at Life Under Construction has a fantastic series going on: Living Large on Less. Amen, sister! Today she posted a FANTASTIC how to on organizing your coupons. Check it out here. And it ain't your typical binder method ladies! I love her breakout do what works for you attitude :) With two little ones in the house and all my time (and sanity) quickly used up I may even venture into not clipping every little coupon into my binder!

Thank you so much for your tips Janae!!

Check out her blog HERE.

CG Safeway... not my favorite store

So I won't even spend the time to into everything that unfolded Saturday. But I will say that this CG store is NOT couponer friendly. If you have MQs from the Sunday Paper they love you. However, if you are using IPQs or any other printable type coupon they are total haters. Apparently they've had a problem with hundreds of $$ in "bogus" coupons... so now they are skeptical of any IPQs. They shut me down on the Real CA cheese coupons b/c they told me they thought they were fraud. (Don't get me started! GRR) They also didn't like my Wacky Mac Coupons... because I had 5. FIVE! Yeah, the Asst. Manager took one and said she was going to go "verify" it right away. Really?!

I don't believe that people who use coupons should be treated as less than those not using coupons. I was made to feel dishonest and a thief. After calling the Store Manager to discuss this problem I was given the same feedback. He referred to my "clipless" (his words for printable coupons) as a real problem and that he wanted to get information from Corporate on exactly what they have to take. He didn't mind that I wouldn't be shopping his store. When I called attention to how I felt treated he only talked over me and insisted that they do not treat couponers differently.

I know everyone's experience is different. But I am not happy with my Safeway store here in Casa Grande. I wish I lived closer to some of the couponer friendly ones in the Mesa area. I know you attract more bees with honey than vinegar... but how do you give compliments and friendliness to a store that makes you feel this way? Just my thoughts...

New Coupons: $3/1 Huggies and FREE Pasta

Head on over to Coupons.com today to get your $3/1 Huggies Coupons! I L-O-V-E that these high value coupons seem to be sticking around. I love Huggies diapers, but at an affordable price (with coupon) I have reason to love them even more!

While you are over at Coupons.com make sure to print off the $1.50/1 Huggies Little Swimmer Coupons and .50/1 Wacky Mac Pasta Coupons. Wacky Mac is only $1 at Safeway this week -- so paired with this coupon it'll be FREE!!! This will add a little variety to the mountain of Smart Taste pasta I have stockpiled in my pantry :)

And as a side note/confession: I spent HOURS yesterday organizing my coupons. I hadn't cleaned out my old ones in a month, yikes! I also had clipped and organized some a few weeks ago (yes, WEEKS) and left them to sit on my table. They are finally happy and home in my coupon binder. I also sorted and tore apart the pages from the past two maybe three weeks ago paper. I still need to clip and put them in my binder TODAY so I can FINALLY go shopping again (without paying a fortune).

I am making a run to Babies R Us today and thought I would pass on these printable coupons I found online. I was sad not to see the 20% off one baby item coupon. I had one, but it expired yesterday... of course!

Happy Shopping for little one!

Link to Target Coupons

Apparently, I posted the wrong link to Target.com coupons in my post below (I am not very good at this coupon blogging thing!) Anyway, if you want to print the Vaseline lotion coupon, go here and it should work :) If not, just go to Target.com and click on coupons at the bottom.
