Want free $$

Who doesn't right? Go check out THIS POST over at the Emergency Essentials blog. I know, I know... I am starting to sound like a paid endorser for them (and I guess since I did what I am telling you to do I kind of am... I digress)

Go check out that post and if you add their blog button to your blog --- they'll send you a $10 giftcard for some of their stuff! I {giant heart} their DELICIOUS refried beans. Seriously, they come this close to beating the real stuff and totally beat the canned variety (ie Rosarita)... and with this $10 gift card you could score a #10 can of the delicious goodness for FREE (plus shipping). Okay, they have lots of other stuff too... and for a free $10 gift card, why not? They don't expire for a whole year. You can also read about other ways to earn free gift cards on their blog and they do giveaways often. Am I the only unlucky person who has NEVER won a giveaway?

41 cents for tax

What's that? You'd like me to take this all out of the store for 41 cents? That's exactly what I did today.
Albertsons: 5 paper towels and two toliet papers (with a raincheck for more toliet paper because they are out in CG)
Flipz chocolate covered pretzels
Yoplait greek yogurt
Frys: Lady Speed Stick
Mentos Gum
Tobasco sauce (raincheck - they were out in CG)
Country Crock margarine
Frozen chicken
Protein bars - on clearance table
Chili Masters Chili - not advertized, but $1 in CG
Safeway:
Windex (free after cataling)
Scrubbing Bubbles (free after catalina)
Hershey's bar: B2G2 free - with 2 MC of B1G1 free they are all free
Have fun shopping!

$10 off $10+ Purchase at Aeropostale!!

We DEFINATELY have this store down by the Harkins theater at the Promenade Mall...

I printed two so my hubby and I can score $20 in FREE clothes in two transactions tonight while we are out on a date :) Oh yeah, and my movie tickets? They're the free ones I got from my Fry's Peanut Butter deal :) Hooray for a cheap date night :)

This Aeropostale coupon is only good this weekend! So hurry!

Beech Nut Baby Food

Some of you may have already received these coupons in your email but thought I would pass it on. The $1/10 isn't the greatest, but anything to save me $$ on something I already buy (coupon or not) is fantastic to me!

Make sure your printer is already ready before clicking on the link :)

$1 on 10 Beech Nut Baby Food Jars (print twice) expires 8/20/10

$1 on Beech Nut Let's Grow Yogurt Nibbles (print twice) expires 8/20/10

P.S. Have you been wondering where all the posts are? I've been ultra busy the past two weeks! We are foster parents and we received a placement of a newborn! Yep, those sleepless nights are back! So as a *new* Mommy of two I have been shamefully spending way too much at the grocery store and it makes my skin crawl a little out of the coupon loop! Thank you for all of your support and the help of my CG Couponista ladies for keeping the blog afloat!

Unexpected Deals

I went to Fry's last night and found a couple unadvertised deals that I wanted to share :)

Nexcare products are on sale Buy One Get One Free... I picked up the Waterproof bandage variety for $2.99 (lowest price point I could find) -- Here's the deal:

Buy 2 Nexcare Products priced at $2.99
- B1G1 2.99
- (2) .55/1 Nexcare MQ
= .99 for both!

I also found more makeup and nail polish clearanced over on the Clearance tables. Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Polish is clearanced to $1.09 (reg. $2.24) use your .50/1 MQ and its only .09 cents each! There were some other Sally Hansen polishes but they were closer to $2 and I didn't want to spend any real $$ on it. And if you are in the market they clearanced out close to 20 Pink Snuggies for $5.99 :) Grandma gift for Mother's Day?

Fry's was all out of the Lawry's Seasoning Salt Shakers that are $1 -- but since they weren't in the ad they couldn't give me a raincheck? I am hoping they'll restock today. They were almost out of the Marinade and only had the Montreal Steak variety of Grill Mates left! I got a rain check for those though.

More Freebies

I love freebies!

The U by Kotex deal I posted about a week or more ago is back on... Get 'em free with the $1/1 MQ from this Sunday's paper (with the RR of course...) Someday I'll become a fan of Walgreens RR, but today is not the day. I just don't have the time! :)

Also, as mentioned in the comments from the previous 'Freebies' post you can pick up McCormick Grill Mates, Lawry's Seasoning Salt and Lawry's Marinades for FREE at Fry's this week using the coupons from this Sunday's paper.

Use your $3/1 Snuggle Coupons at Fry's to get it FREE!

Also, don't forget to use the .40/1 MQ for Del Monte No Added Sugar Canned Fruit coupon at Safeway to score FREE fruit! Arizona Savings blog notes that the coupon does not automatically double up to $1 so you'll need to ask your cashier to do so. The coupon does NOT say not to double... so it's fair! :)

Any other freebies out there?

Bountiful Basket

Have you heard about Bountiful Baskets? They are a GREAT way to get a lot of fruits and veggies for a decent price. Check out their site here for LOTS more information. They are currently in several states and definately have MANY sites in Arizona. There are two in Casa Grande!

You can choose regular or organic (for an added price). Bring a basket, box... whatever with you to take your produce home. You don't get to choose what comes in your basket but there is a good variety and overall I have been happy with the value.

Just thought I'd pass on another great way to save our families $.

Pampers Twin Packs - at Walgreens!

This upcoming week (starting the 11th!) at Walgreens, get Pampers Twin Packs for $14.99.

Pay $18.99 get $4 back in RR.
Pair this with a Pampers Manufacture coupon and that's a pretty good deal!

Albertson's Drama and Valley Fresh Steamers at Fry's

Yesterday I went into Albertson's to pick up my 6 BC Warm Delights... well of course it didn't go as planned. All of my coupons beeped and the cashier put through the first three and then decided that the last three (.75/1 MQ) couldn't be doubled. They weren't even the printable ones! He said that Albertson's only doubled THREE coupons per day. WHAT?!!!? Yeah, if my hubby and kiddo weren't waiting in the car and the line for Customer Service wasn't a mile long I would have fought. So I paid .80 cents with tax when I should have paid .05. I am debating on whether .75 is worth going back into the store. This is when having the store coupon policy with you would be helpful! Sigh... has anyone ever heard of this?

Also when I was at Frys I noticed a lot of the different varieties of Valley Fresh Steamers Veggies (with sauce) were on sale for $1.28 each. Pair this with the .40 MQ or the .50/1 IPQ from HERE to get them for just .28 cents each! I was also SUPER disappointed that my Fry's was all out of the .77 cent Birds Eye SteamFresh veggies! I picked up a rain check but I am hoping to go in on Monday or Tuesday to get them! I might even order more Qs now that I have some time with the rain check. My Qs all expire on 4/17. Gotta love the .23 cents overage on each!

*HOT* Post Catalina Deal & Giveaway Winner!

I headed to Fry's yesterday and of course I happened across a surprise Catalina deal on the Post cereal! And of course I'd already used my coupons and purchased all my cereal in one transaction! Ugh. Oh well :) I wanted to let you all know about it so you can scare some CHEAP pretty much F-R-E-E cereal!

Post Cereal CATALINA Deal:
Buy 3 get $2 OYNO
Buy 4 get $3 OYNO
Buy 5+ get $4 OYNO

Here's how to make it a FANTASTIC deal at Fry's:

Through Tuesday (at least) they have Post Cereal (Fruity/Cocoa Pebbles, HBO, Raisin Bran) on sale $1.27 each wyb 4. Use your $1/2 MQ (there are a couple different ones for the different varieties) and it'll make them .77 each wyb 4. Purchase 4 cereals in one transaction for a total of: $3.08 plus tax and you'll get a $3 OYNO! That's only .02 per box!!! If you don't have any Qs left you can still get them for $5.08 wyb 4 and get the same $3 OYNO and it'll be .52/box! Still a good deal!

** UPDATE -- Only the Fruity or Cocoa Pebbles are triggering the Catalina. NOT the HBO and Raisin Bran... sorry! This sale is over now as well. The catalina will go through 4/18 but without a great sale to pair it with -- its not a good deal ***

KC over at Desert Deals Diva has some great TIPS on this Catalina Deal HERE.
(If only I had read it before my trip! Sigh... what a busy day and disorganization will do to you!)

Winner! Winner! What's your number? Comment #6! ((Chosen by the folks over at Random.org))

Congratulations Bobbi!

Emergency Essentials -- April Sale Items

Many of us couponers have the goal to not only save our families $$ on our weekly grocery budget, but also to build up our food storage without breaking the bank. I have definately fallen in love with the people over at Emergency Essentials (http://www.beprepared.com/) - they have monthly specials and offer group discounts as well!

Here are some of the specials that caught my eye this month!

All Mountain House #10 Cans are on sale 20 - 25 % -- Sale ends 4/30/10
-- These are the Gourmet Food Storage that are "Just Add Water" --
Potato Slices - $4.99/can
SAF Instant Premium Yeast - $2.99
Pinto Beans $7.99/can

Group Specials:
Freeze Dried Broccoli - $10/can
Carrot Dices - $7/can (41% savings)
Freeze Dried Mango Chunks - $16/can

Also, you can save $ and get FREE shipping if you are part of a group and have larger orders. Read all about starting your own group HERE. Also, something I learned this week... you can order anything out of the catalog through your group leader and get it shipped FREE!

Example: My family has been eyeing these 55 gallon water barrels. Normally to have them shipped would be a minimum $9. So right now they are on sale and if I ordered it through my group leader I would also save $9!! AMAZING!

New to Food Storage or don't really no how to get started? A few of us CG Couponista ladies love the tips over at Food Storage Made Easy.

This Week's Grocery Deals

Check out the grocery lists HERE - they do a pretty good job of matching up, although lately I've seen really good deals not listed (like my Hormel Chili deal of last week).

Arizona Savings blog also has some great deals listed here and she let's you in on some Catalina deals that are running!

Fry's has I can't believe its not butter and Promise spreads on sale for .99 cents. Use the $1/1 MQ from your Sunday inserts to get them FREE!

I also ordered 10 .35/1 Birds Eye coupons from eBay for $1.59 shipped -- I"ll get them for FREE at Fry's so even with paying for the Qs its a GREAT deal!

Most Printable Coupons have restocked too! So make sure to go check out your prinatable sites and load eQs to your cards before heading to the store! Organization is KEY!
