High Quality Sheets for CHEAP!

Alright, I know I posted about sheets before. I got some for $20 at a store in the AZ Mills Mall. Well, yeah, I am already IN NEED of new ones because those are SO cheaply made. So I searched for "High Quality Sheet Sets" on Google and THIS is what I found! I just ordered 2 Sets of 1500 Thread Count Cal. King Sheets and paid $96. That is, each one was $37 with a coupon code they give you on the home page if you buy 2, then shipping added $21. I know that sounds like A LOT but I am hoping it will be worth it! I will let you know when they come.

Before I ordered, I decided I would check out some other websites with sheets and for ONE SET it would be more than what I paid for 2!

I am so excited to SLEEP in Luxury!!

Bountiful Baskets -- Have you tried it yet?!

I've posted about this before but just wanted to send out a reminder to all those who may be stressed out about the HIGH produce prices in grocery stores lately. I about died when I went to the store and checked out the produce prices the other day. Sure, if you catch a sale then you're good... and maybe if you shop around to lots of stores you can swap in a little of everything from all around town. However, lately (with three kiddos in tow) this hasn't been happening. I am lucky to make one shopping trip a week to Fry's using my coupons (and even then I could be doing much better!)

I've also heard good things about farmer's markets. I know there is one here in CG Tuesdays and Saturdays... but neither of those days are good for me... and once again 3 kiddos under 2 in tow... I get tired just thinking about that! So here is my solution: BOUNTIFUL BASKETS. It's a co-op. You have to order by Tuesday evening to get a basket on Saturday. You don't get to pick what goes into the basket, but I am telling you it is well worth the $15. I would say you easily get twice the value. Plus they have good deals on cases of veggies/fruits when they are in season which is good if you're into canning/freezing.

So tomorrow morning I will happily pick up my basket & enjoy the delicious (mostly local) fruits & veggies over the next week or so!

Not in Arizona? Bountiful Baskets has lots and lots of locations in the western states. Check it out!

$1 PJ's at WAL-MART!!!!

I went to Wal-Mart tonight on a whim, mainly because I was desparate for Apple Juice and I think it's cheapest there in the big bottle--ANYWAY-- I always like to check out there PJ's in these boxes because they will sometimes go on clearence. SAD thing was they only had these to styles and onlly in 12m, 18m, and 24m. BUT since I have 2 boys plus one on the way I loeaded up, every color and size!! I was SO HAPPY!! There was also Carter's fleece sleeper for for boys with Penguins on it for $1.75 (few left and only in 18 mon) I got lucky!! ALSO-- I saw Girl Carters fleece sleepers on sale for $5 down from $7-- there were a lot of those, my guess is they might go down in price as they keep dwindling around in the store!!
GOOD LUCK!!
Oh and I went to FRY'S after and spent about $18 and got:
30 Yoplait Yogurt cups
4 Fruit Roll Ups
2 Gushers
8 Grands Biscuits
2 Cookie Pouches
4 Brownie Boxes
and
3 Toothpastes
I WAS SO HAPPY!! With another $3 CAT to spend next time!!
Check out Cent'sable shoppin' for THIS week's deals... A lot are the same I think!

FRYS

Duracell Batteries

DO NOT SCAN CARD AT THE BEGINNING! Have them get a total first, its about $27 because the original price is $4.99 or $5.99. (I wondered if at this point I could give them a $5/20 Fresh and Easy coupon, but I forgot to try!)

5 Duracell Batteries - $1.98 each
~ use $0.50/1 coupons (I had 3)
~ use $1.50 / 1 coupons (I had 2)
= $4.72 BUT a $3 off your next order coupon prints out!

= $1.72 total for 5 packs of batteries. Depending on your coupons, or if you can use the Fresh and Easy coupons, it could be FREE!!!

And for you last minute shoppers (like me!) they just restocked on their Cream of Chicken / Mushroom soups, Carnation Evaporated Milk, Colgate Toothpaste, and Colgate Toothbrushes! You can get ALL of these items for FREE right now!

I bought a BUNCH of stuff today, including milk, juice, hot dog buns, trash bags, dishwasher soap, paper plates, plastic cups, soups, toothbrushes, and other things I needed. Some I had coupons for and other things I didnt - but I still only spent $19 out of pocket INCLUDING the batteries I did in my 1st transaction.

I {heart} Coupons.

**UPDATE***

Due to some unfriendly comments received I would like to clarify that Centsableshoppin' did NOT post about the Walgreens coupon being used at Frys. That is one thing I tried on my own. Please excuse me for making a mistake - I was unaware that Wags coupons are currently not accepted at Frys. (Remember we are all new and doing the best we can - but thank you for your quick and anonymous comment to set me straight!) My checker / manager did not even mention the fact that they were not accepted, nor did he bat an eyelash when I gave him the coupon. Hopefully one day I will be the perfect "Couponer"! :)

Loreal Deal at CVS

Right now CVS has tons of L'oreal on clearance for 75% off......pairing that deal with this Sunday's $2/1 and $5/2 MQ's should make for some free and cheap makeup!  They had a great selection of shades still....I got some mineral powder makeup that was about 25 cents after the $5/2 coupon.  Also, blushes, nail polishes, perfect match makeup, and some terrific lipsticks.  Just check along their South wall of the store, there is lots there to choose from if you look for the 75% off tags on select items!

-- Thanks Kathryn!!!

Batteries

There is an awesome deal on Batteries at Fry's. I have plenty of AA Batteries, but we are in need of some C and D batteries and here is a way to get the on the Cheap! The Duracell batteries are on sale for $1.99 there is a $0.50 / 1 coupon in the 10/10 PG which makes them only .99 each! And on top of that there is a catalina running! I haven't tried it yet but plan on trying it this evening. Here is my plan

Buy 4 Duracell batteries $7.96
4 Campbells chunky soup $3.96
4 Glade Candles $7.96
2 Ricolla cough drops $1
Total $20.88

Then I'll use a $5/20 Fresh and Easy coupon
(4) $0.50/1 Duracell coupons 10/10 PG
(4) $0.50/1 Campbells chunky soup Printable
(4) $1/1 Glade 4oz candle coupons (from Safeway Thanksgiving coupon book)
(1) $1/2 Ricolla Cough Drops coupon

For a grand total of $1.88 (+tax) And then I should get a $3 Catalina back for buying the Batteries! There is also supposed to be a $1.50/1 coupon in this Sundays paper which would make this deal even better!! You can always use batteries, especially around this time of year!

Cellfire eQs no longer accepted at Safeway!

Hey I just got this email and thought I would share...

Just one more reason why I don't like shopping at Safeway

We have an important change to the Cellfire service that will affect your membership. Starting today, Thursday, Nov. 4th, Cellfire will no longer offer our coupons for use at Safeway. Safeway has decided to discontinue use of Cellfire's save-to-card services. If you currently have Cellfire coupons saved to your Safeway card they will continue to be redeemable until their expiration date.
We continue to offer Cellfire save-to-card coupons at all Kroger-owned stores, ShopRite, Giant Eagle, and SHOP 'n SAVE. And, we look to add additional stores in the coming months. Kroger-owned stores include: Ralph's, King Soopers, City Market, Dillons, Smith's, Fry's, QFC, Baker's, Owen's, JayC, Hilander, Gerbes, Pay Less, Scott's, and Fred Meyer. If you have one of these supported stores in your area please add your loyalty card to your Cellfire account to start saving coupons immediately. We apologize for this inconvenience and will let you know of any future changes.

Regards,

The Cellfire Team

Target Coupons -- Get Them NOW!

There are a couple fantastic Target coupons available on their website HERE that you can use at Fry's to score some really cheap stuff!

Here's what I printed off (remember you can print each TWICE!):

$1 off 48 oz Market Pantry Ice Cream
.50 off Deli Purchase of $1 or more (specifies store brand)
$1 off Neutrogena facial care item, excl. trial size
$1 off Produce purchase of $1 or more -- hello free produce!!
.50 off 20 oz. or 24 oz. Market Pantry Bread
$1 off Bakery Items (store brand, excludes .99 items) - think French Bread, cookies, etc.

Market Pantry is Target's store brand. Look for comparable Fry's branded items and its a match. Some cashiers may ask their manager for approval, but you shouldn't run into many problems. Also, last time I used a Target bread coupon for .50 Fry's doubled it! YMMV (your mileage may vary) but I was quite happy about the overage since bread was only .88! Also I haven't had any trouble using a competitor coupon and a manufacture coupon at Fry's on the same product. I need face wash BADLY so I am excited to see what I can score...
